Most Disappointing Movie of 2010

The year 2010 has not been the best in terms of movies.  Many have been undermarketed and countless others have not lived up to the anticipation or hype that preceded their release.  Without a doubt, the movie at the top of this list (not living up to hype) would have to be Resident Evil: Afterlife.  With a cost of prodution that was over $60,000,000 and a cast full of stars from T.V. (Wenworth Miller of Lost and Ali Larter of Heros) and movies the consensus prior to the release of the movie was that it would be one of the best of the year.  This definately not the case and I'm not the only one to think so. IMDB (the international movie database) rated the movie 6.5 out of 10.

The lack of a clearly defined plot made the movie seem like a highlight reel of a bad ametuer film, trying to showcase the talens of a stuntman or cinematographer looking for their big break in Hollywood.  If this is the future of the action movie industry then it will not be around for much longer. The industry as a whole deserves alot better than what the makers of Resident Evil gave.
